Qbism. QBism is the new interpretation of quantum theory put forward by a group of physicists led by Christopher Fuchs. A brief description is given in QBism. This theory states that the real world is determinate solely where observed. It sounds crazy, but this approach resolves all the problems in the quantum theory. As t he authors state

Using commonsense language, without the equations or weirdness of conventional quantum theory, Hans Christian von Baeyer clarifies the meaning of quantum mechanics and suggests a new approach to general physics. Abstract: Without Niels Bohr, QBism would be nothing. But QBism is not Bohr. This paper attempts to show that, despite a popular misconception, QBism is no minor tweak to Bohr’s Jul 18, 2017 QBism is not a homophonic quantization of an early 20th century art movement but an increasingly influential set of ideas on how to understand  Oct 1, 2020 I'll merely remark that solipsism can explain any conceivable experience you might have, being therefore no explanation at all. Also that it is not  Mar 2, 2017 On a technical level, QBism uses symmetric, informationally-complete, positive operator-valued measures (SIC-POVMs) to rewrite quantum states  Jan 2, 2016 It introduces the point of view on quantum mechanics known as QBism, or Quantum Bayesianism, and contains an interview with Christopher  Feb 28, 2019 In this talk I give a simple introduction to the decision-theoretic approach to probability and explain how quantum mechanics itself provides  that apparently de Finetti did not recognize and is not clearly explained in. Take, for instance, the infamous “  You might want to have a look at our discussion on quantum mechanics at the World Science Festival.

QBism is an epistemology, meaning it addresses only what we know of reality, not what is actually there in physical reality. Indeed, the assumption is made there is no physical reality actually there. In other words, QBism holds that quantum theory should not be thought to offer a description or representation of physical reality itself.

But it does provide an Quantum theory is the theoretical basis of modern physics that explains the nature and behavior of matter and energy on the atomic and subatomic level. The nature and behavior of matter and energy at that level is sometimes referred to as quantum physics and quantum mechanics. This is what google offers. The authors explain the principles of QBism in depth and situate them alongside historical motivators, such as teleportation, no cloning, and Bell's theorem.

QBism is a realist rather than an instrumentalist program as will be explained in the course of the paper. Its proponents believe that QBism solves the longstanding puzzles of quantum mechanics such as the collapse of the wave function and nonlocality. However, QBism is not without its critics.

Qbism explained

QBism takes measurement outcomes as well as quantum states to be personal to the agent using the theory.

I don't like QBism, for the reason it seems self-contradictory to me. There are at least 3 self-contradictions in the QBism literature: (i) Sometimes it denies the existence of objective reality, but sometimes it accepts the existence of objective reality. (ii) Even though it sometimes denies problem is that QBism refers to the irreducible role of a mental element in decision making about the outcomes of quantum experiments.

But while QM talks about a wavefunction, it doesn't mean the wavefunction actually exists. Qbism says that all probabilities in quantum is only personal probabilities, probabilities doesn’t exist in nature.

This article summarizes the Quantum Bayesian point of view of quantum mechanics, with special emphasis on the view's outer edges---dubbed QBism. QBism has its roots in personalist Bayesian probability theory, is crucially dependent upon the tools of quantum information theory, and most recently, has set out to investigate whether the physical world might be of a type sketched by some …
